Christina is Circulate Capital’s Impact and ESG Manager. She is responsible for the application and maintenance of the proper application of Circulate Capital’s Environmental and Social Investment Policy and for the management of its impact framework. Christina is focused on driving leading practical applications of measuring the impact of circular economy solutions.
Christina brings with her over 15 years of international environmental consulting experience. She managed and conducted environmental and social due diligence and compliance assessments based on country regulations and applicable international standards including the International Finance Corporation Performance Standards, World Bank and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development guidelines and Equator Principles. She helped develop and implement environmental and social action plans including pollution control and monitoring, stakeholder management, project closure and decommissioning. She carried out environmental and social impact assessments, contaminated sites management, and development and implementation of environmental, social, and health & safety management systems. Christina had been an independent environment and social consultant/ advisor for both lenders and borrowers in various financial transactions and had been part of due diligence processes as part of supply agreements and requirements from financial institutions.
Prior to joining Circulate Capital, Christina delivered environmental and social projects across various sectors including infrastructure, power, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing and international finance institutions. She has in-country experiences in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, India, South Korea, Vietnam, China and Australia.
Christina is a Certified Environmental Professional by The Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals in the USA. She is a member of the International Association for Impact Assessment and the National Association of Environmental Professionals. Christina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with academic units in Master of Science in Public Health major in Environmental Health, both from the University of the Philippines.
