Cesar has over 12 years of international experience in entrepreneurship, finance, M&A and strategy consulting. As an Investment Advisor, he has landscaped plastics circular companies in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and has conducted accelerator programs for over 50 companies in all of LAC.
He is a former Senior Consultant with Deloitte with solid experience in Finance and Business Strategy. He led multiple teams in projects like international mergers of large corporations, post-acquisition strategies, business integration synergies and business plan development & implementation for international corporations like New York Life, Energizer, Walmart, Elanco, Liberty Mutual, Santander and Bombardier.
Previously, in a boutique corporate finance firm, he developed detailed financial models, projections, valuation, and investment return analyses for acquisition opportunities of mid-sized companies. For several years, Cesar performed credit analysis for a mid-size financial institution where he helped underwrite asset-backed sustainability projects in Mexico.
He is passionate about startups and entrepreneurship and has collaborated with multiple startups, helping them develop their financial models go to market strategies and raise funds. He is also actively mentoring new companies in the circular economy sector in Mexico.
For the past two years, he has contributed to establishing CC LAC by landscaping the Mexican, Caribbean and Central American markets, conducting three acceleration programs for Latin America and the Caribbean, mentoring over 15 companies from the region and analyzing the current state of 9 Caribbean countries and 14 Latin American ones. He is currently responsible for advancing CC’s operation in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
He has an MBA from HEC Paris specializing in entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico City.
