Based in Indonesia, Dondi brings over 25 years of experience in banking and venture capital to Circulate Capital’s Southeast Asian team. During his banking career, he held leadership roles at HSBC, Bank Danamon Indonesia, and Sampoerna Strategic’s microfinance project (now Bank Sahabat Sampoerna).
In 2011, Dondi transitioned into early-stage investing by co-founding Kinara Indonesia, where he focused on investing in businesses creating positive social and environmental impact. He joined Patamar Capital in 2014 as a partner, where he led investment efforts across Southeast Asia. During his tenure, he played a key role in establishing the firm’s regional presence and building a strong investment portfolio across various sectors.
Dondi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Western Australia. In addition to his work in impact investing, he serves on the board of the Indonesia Impact Alliance, a network of impact investment stakeholders. He is also an active mentor and advisor to several incubators and accelerators, supporting the growth of the ecosystem.
