CEO HC Environment

Xavier How-Choong is CEO of HC Environnement, a waste management and recycling company based in his home island of La Réunion (France). A third-generation entrepreneur, Xavier is steering the family business towards its next development stage, focusing on the Indian Ocean area.

Prior to taking the helm of the family business, Xavier was a project manager for Amadeus, a travel industry services company. Based in London then Dubai, he handled system migrations for a portfolio of clients across Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Xavier is actively involved in local charities strengthening social inclusion and cultural conservation. He holds an M.B.A from INSEAD and a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the INSA Lyon.
